What do I need to apply?

Have an active checking account, steady income, a valid email address, and a smartphone number. You must be old enough to enter a legal contract. SNAP’s published income requirement is at least $750 or $1,000 per month, depending on the product. SNAP reviews the application; a checking account alone does not guarantee approval.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. SNAP reviews applications and determines approval and available amounts. No credit history is required for its lease-to-own option, but SNAP obtains consumer-reporting information.

When do I own the merchandise?

Ownership follows the purchase terms in your agreement. The full-term cost includes a cost of lease above the merchandise price. Early purchase options may reduce the total cost; review deadlines and requirements with SNAP.

Where is lease-to-own available?

SNAP RTO lease-to-own agreements are unavailable to residents of Minnesota, New Jersey, and Wisconsin. Other restrictions may apply.
